    Fun little pot in an eye-popping turquoise glaze from my new series of vase/pencil cup/utensil holders. It starts out thrown on the wheel in a speckled brown stoneware clay then I add handles and feet. After the glaze firing I collage different hand-painted and hand-stamped papers and seal them with decoupage medium. The edges of the handles and rim have been wiped with a damp sponge in the glazing stage to give it a rustic appearance that goes nicely with the brown speckles that show through the glaze. The
